REiki level I (shoden)

The first degree of Reiki, or Shoden, class will be a one-day class that is a combination of lecture, discussion, and experience. The following topics will be covered as well as the Reiki Level I attunement/initiation. This level focuses on self-treatment.

• The Definition of Reiki, and the Reiki Kanji

• Reiki History

• The Gokai, or Reiki Precepts

• How Reiki Heals - Understanding the Human Energy Field

• Reiki Exercises for Expanding Energy

• Japanese Reiki Techniques including Gasshō Meiso (meditation), Kenyoku Hō (dry bathing), Reiki Shower, Reijī Hō (Reiki Intuition), and others.

• Hand Positions for Self-Treatment

• Hand Positions for Treating Others

• Additional Reiki Techniques

Reiki level II (Okuden)

The second degree of Reiki, or Okuden, class will be a one-day class that is a combination of lecture, discussion, and experience. The following topics will be covered as well as the Reiki Level II attunement/initiation. This level focuses on treatments of others.

• The Reiki Symbols, and various techniques to apply their effects..

  • The Power or Focus Symbol

  • The Mental/Emotional Symbol

  • The Distance Healing Symbol

• Byōsen and Scanning for Byōsen

• More Japanese Reiki Techniques including Gyōshi Hō (sending Reiki with the breath), Koki Hō (sending Reiki with the eyes),, Sei Heki Chiryō Hō (using the second symbol in treatment), Enkaku Chiryō Hō (using the third symbol in treatment), and others.

• Additional Okuden Tools and Techniques including programming crystals with the symbols, The Reiki Box, and others.

Do you feel drawn to the beautiful stones you so often see in those shops that carry the “weird” stuff? Then this workshop is for you! This 3-hour workshop covers the basics of working with crystals including cleansing, programming, meditations with the crystals, as well as a handful of specific crystals that are foundational and approachable for beginners. Attendants will also learn valuable ways to use crystals in works of protection, warding, setting goals, intentions, and healing.

This workshop is a combination of lecture and experience. Attendants will receive a set of tumbled stones discussed in the workshop, and are encouraged to bring stones that they may already have or work with to gain deeper connection with those stone allies.
